Terms of Usage

Last updated: April 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using GATEOS, you agree to these Terms of Usage. These Terms govern your use of the GATEOS website, dashboard, sign-in flows, analytics features, AI-assisted features, and related preparation tools.

2. Description of the Service

GATEOS is a study-tracking and preparation support product designed to help users record study activity, organize subject progress, review metrics, track textbook reading, and receive dashboard-based suggestions. GATEOS is offered as an informational and productivity tool and is not a substitute for your own judgment, academic planning, or professional advice.

3. Account Access and Google Sign-In

GATEOS uses Google sign-in for account access. When you sign in using Google, GATEOS may use your Google Account email ID and profile photo in the dashboard. Your email ID is stored for account access, account identification, and association of your account with the dashboard data created during your use of the service.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Providing accurate and lawful information when using the service.

Maintaining the security of the sign-in methods you use to access your account.

Using the product only for lawful, authorized, and legitimate study-related purposes.

Reviewing AI-generated outputs before relying on them for preparation decisions.

5. User Content

You retain responsibility for the notes, logs, reading records, study plans, revision entries, mock details, and other material you submit into GATEOS. You represent that you have the right to submit that content and that your use of the service does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

6. AI Suggestions and Vercel AI Gateway Integration

GATEOS uses Vercel AI Gateway for AI suggestions and related AI-assisted features, including preparation guidance generated with the DeepSeek V4 Flash model. By using those features, you understand and agree that relevant dashboard context may be processed through that integration to generate recommendations, summaries, or other AI outputs. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not suitable for your intended use without your own review.

7. Availability and Service Changes

GATEOS may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time. Features, interfaces, third-party integrations, and workflows may change without prior notice. Access may also depend on the continued availability of third-party services such as Google sign-in and Vercel AI Gateway integrations.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse GATEOS, including by attempting to:

Interfere with the normal operation or security of the service.

Access accounts, systems, or data without authorization.

Use the service to store or distribute unlawful, abusive, or infringing material.

Use automated means to abuse, overload, or degrade the service.

9. No Warranty

GATEOS is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Limitation of Responsibility

GATEOS helps organize preparation data and surface insights, but does not guarantee academic outcomes, rankings, admissions, or exam performance. You remain responsible for your preparation decisions, schedule choices, and interpretation of any analytics or AI-generated outputs.

11. Privacy

Your use of GATEOS is also subject to the GATEOS Privacy Policy, which explains how account information, Google Account email IDs, profile photos, dashboard activity, and Vercel AI Gateway-powered AI suggestion context may be used.

12. Changes to These Terms

GATEOS may revise these Terms of Usage from time to time. Continued use of the service after updated Terms become effective may be treated as acceptance of the revised Terms.
